The Inevitable

Pastel on cardboard

30cm by 30cm

2020.

One point in understanding this work, expresses the dilemma, struggle, pain, captured in the mind of two young boys hoping the day turns bright for them, the inevitable is a fact that we can't change our present situation, we can't change who we are but can hope for a bright tomorrow, Inevitable captures the Inevitability of an enslaved mind."(We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history there is such a thing as being too late. . . .We still have a chance today: nonviolent coexistence. This may well be mankind’s last chance to choose between chaos and community. The  psychological freedom that as long as the mind is enslaved the body can never be free, a powerful  weapon against the long night of physical slavery)".
