These are my representations of Greek mythology in an African theme. Medusa has a misunderstood story. She was an innocent and beautiful lady before the curse. This pictures her gaze of anger and more underlying pain, Icarus, the symbol of curiosity and indulgence leading to a tragic end. This picture represents Icarus before he took flight and the look of curiosity as he reaches for a feather.
