Hope for peace

Medium: mixed media(fabric, charcoal and oil on canvas) Size: 4ft by 5ft  Year:2021 Waking up everyday, listening to the same news, old news about Nigerian, makes me sick and want to cry or blame my parent for giving birth to me in this country. Seeing people dying everyday, suffering, blood shedding by the ones that are suppose to protect us makes me always say to my self that the young onces are not safe nor the old onces. Facing many issues everyday, covid 19, abuses by boko haram, intercommunia violence etc. No freedom of expression, standing up saying what we want out loud to the government, the police continued to arrest, detain, and use excessive force against peaceful civilians. How can we be seeking for peace since childhood till we grown old and still yet "No peace
