Umerie Shalom Chimdalu grew up in a household surrounded by stories - on the musty pages of old books and the lips of family - as a result, he fell in love with storytelling. This love intensified later on when he came across his first Nigerian author. Captivated by new worlds that somehow felt nostalgic, he made a quiet promise to tell stories of his someday. However, it wasn’t until late 2018, that he started to fulfill that promise, allowing his influences guide him on his way to crafting alternate realities that seek to create that nostalgia in chapters of prose and lines of poetry alike
