Timothy Undiandeye is a graduate of Human Physiology, and a self-taught artist. He is passionate about using art for social good, such as art-therapy and upcycling.
Timothy advocates eco-sustainability by reinventing fashion waste into functional
art, so they escape the fate of constituting an environmental nuisance. This resonates with SDG 12, and conforms with the circular economy model, hinged on zero waste and resource maximization. His Afrocentric collages explore the resilient African spirit and diverse Afrocentric narratives, through the vivid colours and motifs of African fabrics. For him, waste is an interesting medium for creative expression.
Timothy is passionate about the Sustainable Development Goals and committed to developing cross-disciplinary solutions to social issues. His experience cuts across civic engagement, entrepreneurship and social innovation. He is a pioneer fellow of the Arts in Medicine (AIM) Fellowship, the Mandela Washington Fellowship and StartingBloc Institute.
