Tomisin is a textile design artist that uses motif, pattern and color to achieve unique illustrations resembling 3D designs. She started textile design in 2012 to cope with being bullied in high school, and since then art has been a beautiful means of escape in challenging times. Her use of complex patterns to achieve Afrocentric illustrations are symbolic for her expression of a range of emotions which she also tries to piece together in the hope of peace and tranquility.
