Kevogo Yavetsi is a Kenyan new generation artist who captures the essence, spirit and beauty of the African continent. Drawing inspiration from animals,nature and people while relying on first hand observations and experiences, he creates works expressing the vibrant spirit and atmosphere of the Continent.
As a child growing up in Nairobi, Kevogo displayed signs of innate artistic talent in both painting and sculpture. After completion of high school A-level, his confidence and desire to explore his creativity expanded and evolved.
Kevogo graduated with honors from Buruburu institute of fine arts(BIFA), Nairobi, Kenya. Formerly trained as a sculptor, Kevogo has taken up painting full time. Currently, he combines his love for creating art with conservation.
