Jerry Chiemeke is a writer, culture critic and lawyer. His work has appeared in The Johannesburg Review of Books, The Guardian, The Republic and Inlandia Journal, among others. Chiemeke lives in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the winner of the 2017 Ken Saro Wiwa Prize for Criticism, and he is the author of "Dreaming Of Ways To Understand You", a collection of short stories.
