Ettim Effiong was born in Aba-South, Abia State, Nigeria. He is a native of Eyotong Community in Oron Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State, South-South Nigerian. He had his first degree in Visual Art And Technology from Cross River University Of Technology. He is passionate about touching lives by transforming waste into art. As a young contemporary artist his sculptural works centre on numerous waste metals, scraps from Junks yards, because he believe materials are everywhere and anything can be used as sculptural mediums.
