Chidiebere Ogo Umeasiegbu is an August born visual artist from Anambra state who earned a B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra state.

Inspired by the beauty of nature, Chidiebere better known as Chidi began practicing in 2016 when he had the opportunity to be mentored by Clement Maduakor Nwafor, the renown African artist based in Abuja Nigeria under whom Chidi has grown to be unique in his use of colors.

Working with oil paints, the artist creates emotional thought provoking artworks and achieves this by layering and glazing techniques while using a ‘simple color pallet’ as he would say.

Chidi loves painting because the painting process is like a peaceful world where he exhibits the best of himself regardless of the challenges he faces. Every process of bringing his ideas to life from inception to finished artwork is always an exciting experience”.
