Atiye Afolabi hails from ondo state, but was born and bred in Lagos. He is a painter who empoys the use of oil.  He studied Fine Art at the prestigious Yaba College of Technology. He is now in university of Lagos studying visual Art. While  in school he has been under the tutelage of mr. Yusuf Durodola And Mr. Damilola Opedun.
His works speak loudly about his immediate environment and the present situation of Nigeria. He likes to portray what people go through everyday.
