Adavize Ibrahim was born in 1997 in Lagos, Nigeria. Naturally, he was drawn to art. His interest further developed when he opted to take a National Diploma at the Department of Art and Industrial Design in Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu.
After his diploma program, Adavize delved even more into art practice involving more of figurative drawings. He uses the practice of burying his drawing themes in occurring vices to allow the environment a voice. Adavize cherishes this connection with his immediate environment. He feels that the artistic exchange between the people and the artist opens up many opportunities.
Adavize also trained as a textile designer, specializing in hand painted Ankara designs. He trained for a period of one year as an industrial attachment to his national diploma program. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Art Degree at the University of Benin alongside his practice.
